not to worry...

As I read from Isaiah 40 today..
I was reminded that I don't have to be overwhelmed...
As I think about how to schedule the days trying to add elements from every aspect
in life.. nature, art, music, books, reading and writing and chores.. and meals and exercise!
I need to know that it will all work out.. and be wonderful!

He knows the weight of the mountains, he has measured the waters, by the way, who instructed Him? Who knows more then Him?  He has a strong hand and yet...

He gently leads those who are with young. 

 so, I will take a deep breath.. and begin each day knowing that He knows already- 

excited to see what we will learn in nature~art ~and for sure history~ this year- 

yesterday, my oldest daughter and I spent the whole day finishing projects for the county fair.

tonight we will see what the judges thought... we didn't get all done what we had hoped..and some of the big projects we had hoped to enter did not get done- it takes alot of time but, we learned some even in that.. I am amazed how much there is to learn in knitting and also crocheting...

she learned two new techniques on her crochet projects! Only means getting better and better!

Look for pictures after the fair...I will get some taken and up here then.

          Where did the month go!?

 

It's is about over. I have lots of memories

A word- picture for wednesday

            
    Oh yeah! We are going to go out for a walk today! 

          But first, we were trying to think of what to share on wednesday..

       so it is a word-with-picture day. To find one single word to describe the day.. 

 tough.. hmmm..  how about HOORAY!  'cause that is a  word I have heard today, here at our      house..

   But, since it is St. Patricks day.. (a considered fun holiday for most kids). Remember the shamrock  story we found here..               We will add the word GREEN..

 since I have heard that just as much today... so here are some HOORAY pictures as well as some

busy knuckles for 2 days

In honor of either the Olympics, gifts to finish for mom (grandma~ her birthday) and others, or too many projects on  needles and yarn getting too tangled... we have some projects to show again...

and there is more on the list this week. Hurry!
make some hats and mitts so they can go out and use them this year! I made a hat for one, the oldest, now, it looks too big..  just too long on top.. (it looks smaller while still on needles) so I am going to try another one for her.

 

Davia made a trivet (gift for grandma),the tea pot is mine from England..




and started something fun..small hands, small models, they make everything cute.. and me, I'm thankful that they are still so cute and small and full of smiles!

I made a cowl (neck warmer) for mom, now I want one! I worked
some on some scarves too.
Soon, I am going to get in the mood for spring and summer projects.. Time to start looking! And get stocked up on dk yarn!

knitting projects for Feb

Working to complete some projects..

I am finishing 2 scarves, and something to be revealed once it is done, since it is a gift..

Davia is working on several projects as well..  pictured here,  a hat, nice and easy.. and some socks..

Now the socks.. new concepts.. new ideas! They are knit from the toe up.. and she is coming along on them.. It took a while to figure out the  "magic" cast on and how to do 2 at a time on 2 needles...  can't wait to see them finished!

I am going to sneak on a shot from last summer.

It made me smile.. and the sun out today, that helps too.

I love the contrast.. my girls play in the mud with painted pink fingernails.

They included their brother in all of it that day too, I see his nails are done,too!

As for me, so much to pull out and do...here is just one on my latest projects...going to be a scarf eventually.
