I have great expectations

Many busy days~

I love summer! 

Lately- there have been some fun summer days, and some frustrations-    and things to look forward to.

Lets just get to the things to look forward to for now..

We are heading up north to a first time adventure of a cabin in the woods!
I have been trying very hard to get organized.. The whole day today- I was in the kitchen
cooking up meals to bring.. and I even  baked..

There was even a small contribution collected from our little garden- rhubarb to bake pies, and chillis and onions, and some herbs that all went to the soup to bring.

The laundry pile had completed diminished for a couple of days..
The suitcases and van are about to be packed up like sardines!
I have list from librivox to download..while I am here at the 'puter.
My feet are very sore so I think I deserve a quick break!

Then I am going to make up a batch of caramel corn and maybe some GF brownies-

and make a trip to wallyworld yet tonight-

and I must clear off my bed of fresh folded laundry-

but, I am looking forward to the sounds of nature, lakeside walks,  maybe even a swim day, homemade chilli, fresh watermelon,
card games-
taking lots of photos!
and even a long scenic drive~ ahh, wish it could be a longer trip.. just a few days- and we will be back to the same yard, same house- but we will get to see Kristina and Violet-

-enjoy the warm days-they go too fast.
